Someone once told me that "when you meet the right person, you'll know." Well, I just knew. Right away, we connected in a way that left me feeling complete.

Ever since I met Kailee, my life has changed for the better. From the day I met her, I knew she was very special. These last few years have been the best years of my life, and it's all thanks to her. Nothing excites me more than being able to spend the rest of my life with the woman of my dreams, my best friend, and my soulmate.

I never knew love before I met David. I know it’s cliché, but I can honestly say that I cannot imagine my life without him. In the three years that we have known each other, he has opened up my life to so many new experiences and opportunities. I know that I would not be where I am without him, and—from now on—the only place I want to be is by his side. I think we are just getting started with our adventure.

Our first date

David planned a coffee date in downtown Naperville. To their surprise, the date lasted hours. They walked around the entirety of downtown Naperville, they talked about everything and anything, and they enjoyed just being in each other’s company. It was effortless; it felt right. When they both got to their separate cars, they knew they had met “the one.”

2022

Our first trip

Kailee had never been out of the country before, so they decided to spend a week in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The two tried things they have never tried before: zip lining, sushi, and much more. However, Kailee’s unlucky misfortune of rain on vacation followed them even there. Even with the constant rain, gigantic spiders, and canceled excursions, Kailee and David plan to go back one day. Maybe a new trip will be on the horizon for the two soon.

She said Yes!

David had always been wanting to go to the East coast during the fall to see the foliage at its peak. So, David planned everything down to the minute. Little did Kailee know (even though she had a feeling because it’s Kailee), he had a more important reason for going. On one of their few hikes that weekend, David took Kailee to the edge of a cliff—overlooking a vast, beautiful lake surrounded by forests—where he got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. It was the easiest yes of her life.
